Sony Likely Prepping New Shooter

Sony is developing an unannounced new project. According to a newly posted <a target="_blank" href="http://jobs.gamasutra.com/JobSeekerX/ViewJob.asp?JobID=kryyH9R45A3aUGNpqKGk3Py5HfkR" target="_blank">job listing</a>, the publisher's Santa Monica studio is hiring a Senior Combat Designer for work on a new IP.<br/><br/><img src="http://ps3media.ign.com/ps3/image/article/122/1223426/ffffff_1334941806.jpg" /><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>The listing mentions that "experience working with, developing or designing for a 1st and/or 3rd person shooter genre a plus," suggesting that the new game is very likely a shooter. It adds that "experience working with, developing or designing vehicle combat in a game also a plus" and hints at competitive multiplayer features.<br/><br/>The project has yet to be announced and no specific platform is listed, but we've reached out to Sony for more information.
