League of Legends Spectator Mode Dated

<LINK REL="stylesheet" HREF="http://guidesmedia.ign.com/guides/uni/IGNE_style.css" TYPE="text/css">Despite being one of the most popular games in the world, League of Legends' lack of a spectator mode has been its most glaring oversight. Well, that changes with the next patch (in theory as soon as Tuesday, May 1st), when Riot Games releases it into the wild. You should be. You can now drop into a friend's game in progress, as well as watch featured games that will appear in the client. Featured games will have no limit to the amount of observers they can have.<br/><br/>Other features that will be included are a directed camera and something Riot calls Timeshift. According to today's press release the directed camera allows the computer to direct your view, "selecting the most interesting action on the field," by analyzing "everything that is currently happening." Timeshift allows spectators to rewind, slow down or pause a live game.
